CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (November 5, 2018) — Impark is pleased to announce President and CEO Ty Stafford’s ascension to the National Parking Association’s board of directors. The board tasks influential parking industry leaders with molding the association’s vision, policies, and program direction.
Founded in 1951 and based in Washington, D.C., the National Parking Association (NPA) is North America’s leading trade association for parking professionals. The non-profit — which represents more than 2,500 members — is committed to advancing private and public sector interests by spearheading high-quality research, advocacy, and education endeavors.
“NPA is pleased to welcome Ty Stafford, CEO of Impark, to the National Parking Association’s board of directors,” NPA President Christine Banning commented. “Ty brings a sophisticated approach to parking management, technology, and integrated services that will help shape best practices in parking.”
Ty Stafford joined Impark as President and CEO in January 2017. Impark is recognized as a global leader in sustainable parking management, operating within multiple verticals including commercial, healthcare, municipal, airport, education, stadiums and arenas, and more.
“It’s a privilege to join the board of the nation’s leading parking trade group,” Ty remarked. “The NPA’s vision aligns perfectly with Impark’s own commitment to improving the parking industry and better serving the community at large.”
Ty and his fellow NPA directors were elected to the board on October 22, 2018, at the NPA’s 67th Annual Convention & Expo in Las Vegas.
