The District of West Vancouver has many beautiful and scenic parks with a variety of natural features, including rugged coastline, beaches, old growth forests, biological diversity, and spectacular viewpoints of the local mountains and Howe Sound. Many of the parks feature hiking trails, picnic areas, swimming beaches, tennis courts, and more. Public parking at these parks is limited and reaches maximum capacity quickly, especially in good weather.
Pay parking is in effect in Lighthouse Park, Whyte Lake/Nelson Canyon Park, and Whytecliff Park.
