Imperial Parking (U.S.), Inc. (Impark), one of North America’s largest parking operators, announced today it has been awarded multi-year contracts to manage parking operations at three buildings within Brookfield Properties Corporation’s Mid-Atlantic portfolio.

The contracts were awarded by Brookfield Properties, a commercial real estate corporation that owns, develops, and operates landmark office buildings in high-growth North American cities.

The properties include the buildings 1550/1560 Wilson Blvd. and Potomac Tower in Northern Virginia, and 2001 M Street in Washington D.C. The three parking facilities are comprised of 1,167 spaces, with valet assist parking operations supplementing two of the sites.

The addition of these Virginia and Washington D.C. locations serves to increase Impark’s management of Brookfield parking assets in the Mid-Atlantic region; Brookfield’s Maryland portfolio of properties was awarded to Impark in February of last year.

“We are again honored to have Brookfield Properties entrust us with the management and optimization of the parking component serving key properties in their Washington D.C./Virginia/Maryland footprint. Our team looks forward to implementing new tenant-focused parking programs at these locations, assisting Brookfield Properties in exceeding their parking related goals for these key assets”, noted Chris Johnson, Impark’s Senior Vice President for the Eastern U.S.

“We are excited to be awarded these new contracts in Northern Virginia and Washington. The award represents a cementing of Impark’s relationship with an important client, and affirmation that Impark delivered upon its service and financial performance commitments at the Maryland Brookfield properties awarded to Impark last year”, commented Herb Anderson, Impark’s President & CEO.

Imperial Parking Corporation, headquartered in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, is the third largest parking management company in North America with more than 3,700 employees and 1,900 locations.
